Disable the « beep » in Antergos-Archlinux

Unbearable beep on your archlinux computer and you don’t know what to do? This is the soluce!

The purpose of this article is to help antergos or archlinux users if they are beginners like me. Right after installing the OS a horrible beep was coming out from the PC speaker. For exemple, as I was reaching the end of the menus… I went through the forums and finally I found this very easy soluce: xset -b.

In a terminal:

commande-beep-940x528

And then each time you restart your computer: (right click on the desktop/applications/session and start) [As my computer is in French maybe this is not correct. Please tell me if not.]

création-démarrage-stop-beep

I hope this helped you and you did not lose to much time to find the solution.
